Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)

This document forms the contract between Mindbuilders Ltd trading as 11+ made simple (the "Service Provider" or "Owner") and the Client (the Parent/Guardian).

1. The Contract and Service

  • Acceptance: By enrolling your child in 11+ made simple, you agree to these policies, which are designed to ensure a fair and predictable experience for all our clients.
  • Service: Online 11+ tutoring sessions delivered via Zoom and supported by online platforms like Google Classroom and Classwork.com.
  • Duration: The expected service duration is typically up to two academic years, depending on the child's entry point.

2. Payment Policy

  • Programme Fee: The full programme fee is payable in monthly instalments, due on the first day of each calendar month. The total cost and payment schedule will be outlined in your initial booking agreement.
  • Payment Method: All payments are processed automatically via our secure payment system (Stripe/GoCardless). A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your child’s place in the programme.
  • Late Payments: If payment is not received within seven (7) days of the due date, we reserve the right to suspend your child's participation in group sessions and access to programme resources until the outstanding balance is settled.

3. Cancellation and Missed Session Policy

  • Group Sessions (Missed by Student): Due to the nature of group learning, we do not offer refunds or make up sessions for any sessions missed by the student.
  • Access to Material: If a student misses a session, we provide access to a video recording of the lesson for playback, along with the materials covered.
  • Cancellations by 11+ Made Simple: If a session must be cancelled by us, we will provide an alternative session time or a full refund for that specific session.

4. Refund Policy

  • 14-Day Cooling-off Period: You may cancel your child's enrolment within 14 days of the initial booking date. The fees paid for this period are non refundable, but you will not be liable for any subsequent programme fees if you cancel within this window.
  • Non Refundable Status: After this 14 day period has passed, all fees are non refundable.
  • Extenuating Circumstances: Any refund requests outside of this policy will be considered on a case by case basis.

5. Lesson Recording and Communication

  • Lesson Recording: All lessons are recorded for quality assurance purposes and to allow students to watch and review learning or catch up on missed lessons.
  • Storage and Deletion: Recordings are stored securely for a period of one year and are then permanently deleted. By accepting these T&Cs, you consent to the recording of all sessions.
  • Communication: All official correspondence must be directed to admin@mindbuilders.co.uk. WhatsApp is used solely for non official communication (e.g., quick reminders).

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Technology: The Client must ensure the Student has a stable internet connection, working camera/microphone, and a quiet, distraction free learning environment. Technical issues on the Client's side will not warrant a refund or replacement lesson.
  • Safeguarding: An adult must be present in the home/building throughout all online sessions for students under 18 for safeguarding reasons.

7. Liability and Intellectual Property

  • Mindbuilders Ltd is not liable for the outcome of any exam or assessment.
  • All lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, mock exams, and resources provided by 11+ made simple are the intellectual property of Mindbuilders Ltd and must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed to any third party.
